Types of Classes Offered

Restorative

Restorative yoga is a gentle practice that prioritizes relaxation and rejuvenation. It focuses on slowing down and releasing tension by utilizing a series of supported poses. These poses are held for extended periods, allowing the body to fully relax into each posture and encouraging the nervous system to shift from a state of stress to one of deep relaxation. Restorative yoga helps to reduce stress, alleviate fatigue, and restore a sense of balance. It is especially beneficial for those seeking respite from the demands of modern life, individuals recovering from injuries, or anyone in need of a nurturing practice that nurtures the body's innate capacity for healing and renewal.

Nidra

Nidra yoga is a meditative and relaxation-focused practice that guides participants into a state of conscious awareness between wakefulness and slumber. The practice often includes body awareness, breath awareness, and visualization techniques, allowing individuals to experience a profound sense of restfulness while remaining awake and attentive. Nidra yoga is renowned for its ability to reduce stress, anxiety, and insomnia, as well as enhance creativity, focus, and self-awareness. It serves as a powerful tool for accessing the subconscious mind, making it a valuable practice for self-discovery, emotional healing, and achieving a heightened state of inner tranquility.

Yin

Yin yoga is a contemplative and meditative practice that focuses on long-held, passive postures designed to target the deep connective tissues of the body. It emphasizes stillness and surrender, encouraging practitioners to relax into poses for an extended duration. This gentle approach allows for a gradual and safe opening of joints, ligaments, and fascia, promoting flexibility and mobility in areas that are typically less accessible. Yin yoga offers a space for introspection and mindfulness, as the prolonged holds provide an opportunity to observe and release physical and emotional tension. Yin yoga fosters a sense of inner stillness, balance, and a deeper understanding of the body-mind connection.
